Who are we ?
Founded at Allaire (Morbihan department, France) in 1977, CDL (Celluloses de la Loire) developed its activity in the manufacture and sale of moulded cellulose packaging. Historically specialised in the poultry industry (egg trays, family packs, lids and egg cartons), CDL then extended its know-how to other applications such as the fruit and vegetables sector (apple trays) an the medical sector (kidney dishes, etc.).
Leader on the moulded fibre market
With a 40 % to 80 % market share in moulded fibre poultry trays in the major European Union countries, CDL (Celluloses de la Loire) is now recognised as a key player in its sector.
CDL expanded on the French market until the years 2000 and accelerated its growth over the last 10 years with the development of international exports.
Today, our company has a headcount of over 100 and distributes its moulded fibre solutions in more than 35 countries throughout the world.
